Hey evry1 this is a member, like my friend who only communicates with you when he needs something, guess what?, I need help.
Car:1999 Z28 daily driven, all highway miles=141xxx (i kno leave me alone)
A4 fluid needs to be changed been 40,000 (manual says change it every 50 thou if it is mainly highway, but it does need to be changed)
So this is what happened:
on the highway, ac blow'n, stereo boom'n, going 65, rpm=1500, step on the gas, rpm-2500, going 65, hmmm, pull over, shift the gears, listened and heard it shift through all 4 gears, 4th at 60mph, fine, but it kept occuring?
Is it my:
a)Tranny
b)A loose nut behind the wheel
c( not enough info

If it is a, some more info would help like why, or something,

From what I gather it sounds like its time for a transmission rebuild. Sounds like some slippage to me.
