And I say goodbye to you, Mr. 4L60E

well, car started acting funny, would get to 2500 or so, car would stop, and then pick back up. At first i thought it was just maybe a bad plug or something, changed plugs and wires, still did it....well wtf.

So, started checking other things, and then i got to the tranny fluid. Smelt it....good lord it smelled like burnt popcorn.

So, tomorrow the god-forsaken 4l60e (that has been through a lot more than god ever intended it to be) comes out. I bought it second hand from a guy that had it rebuilt by a reputable shop, and then when the shop refused to give me what i wanted in my next rebuild took it to another shop. Since than it has been through two different turbo kits, and it finally bit it after some hard mileage.

Tomorrow I start shopping for a stall for my th350.
