Question I need to rebuild my transmission. Parts needed?

I need to upgrade my current setup and I know I'm going to need beefier parts.
What parts will I need?
Where can I get them?
I run a 100-125 shot of N20, so I need something that can support ~400whp.

Last time I "trusted" the mechanic when he told me what he put in, big mistake. So I'm buying my own parts. Please let me know!

There's not much to replace for performance, really. Get a synchro kit and maybe a steel 3/4 shift fork and that's about it. The only thing that really kills T56s is time and abuse. Synchros are a wear item and will wear out, agressive shifting will speed it up of course. Her's some web sites I've found useful:

LOL figures.

I used to have some good web sites with some info on that kind of thing, but the main thing is of course the friction material- the discs that wear during gear changes. The best thing to do is check out the kind of parts that vendors are putting in their performance transmissions they sell and look for the same stuff to put in your trans. And another good pointer is that all those performance parts are only as good as the mechanic that put them together, especially when it comes to contamination sensitive items such as auto transmissions.
