Howling gears, what settings to use for new Motive's?

Hey all, I just had my 1 year old Richmond 3.73's pulled out as a pinion tooth broke off, and ordered a set of Motive 3.42's to replace them. My mechanic showed me the pattern from the broken Richmonds, they were engaged about 75%, not even close to good.

He's got the new ones set up a bit better, but I still hear a lot of howl from the rearend, particularly on deceleration. Can someone point me to a set of specs he can use? He says he bas the backlash at .007 right now so he thinks thats right, but doesn't know about the rest.

Any info or help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Chris
