"Howling" in differential

I got a bad howling in my rear end when driving and its even worse when decelerating, the buy i bought my z28 from installed 3.73s just before i bought it and thats when it started, i know its probably caused from improper ring and pinion gear pattern but i have no clue how to adjust it, does anyone have any info or know where i can get info on how to do this?

Changing the gear setup is pretty complicated and requires a dial indicator and a press. It's even hard for the people that do it all the time. You might find some info with a search if you are still willing to try.
