How to store 4L60?

I just got a transmission from a 93 Z28, that needs rebuilt. Until I am ready to take it to be rebuilt how do I store it?

We tipped it abit and drained a good amount of fluid, but there is still fluid in it. Also we removed the the stall, but I have it here.

How do I store it for a couple of months until I am ready to take it a shop to be rebuilt?

if you have the convertor out of it, just drain it as you did. to store it, if your having it rebuilt, just don't let it fill with water, as in outside uncovered.
