How to remove my 10 carrier???

How to remove my 10 carrier???

Ok so I want to put a posi carrier in my rearend I got everything out of the rearend but I cant get my old carrier out what do I need to do???

You have the bearing caps off? Then you just have to put a prybar behind it and pop it out. It'll be stuck. If you're working alone under the car, put the bearing caps back on loosely to catch it for you when you pop it loose.

easiest way is to put a wrench on one of the ring gear bolts, then rotate the carrier upwards until the wrench is againt the diff housing. now you can easily pry on the bottom of the carrier w/out it turning and it will come out. make sense?
