how many teeth on a 95 LT1 flexplate?
I searched, didn't find anything helpful. If the LT1 is a 153 tooth, would the 168 work? Or not?
Also, I have an internally balanced motor, is the stock flexplate internally balanced? (or neutral balanced?)
I have a guy I work with who has a 168 tooth flexplate I can have, but would it work?
Or, should I just buy an SFI one and be done with it? My car is 440rwhp right now and working on the A4 conversion.
Thanks!
Cody

Stock flexplate is 153 teeth and is counter balanced to work with a LT1. You will either need to neutrally balanced the flexplate or replace it. A SFI flexplate is a good idea for your HP rating.

Jegs sells a 153 tooth SFI approved flexplate for a very good price. I've got one, myself for my car. i think it was right around $60.
