It's decent I think, it's a 2 1/2 ton weight limit....the only thing that sucks about it is when I release it, it jerks down instead of going down smoothly.

OK, the trans is out, but how do I get the bell housing out? Do I have to disconnect the starter or anything? I've unbolted all 8 bolts and it's stuck pretty good.

Re: How to lower transmission?

Well...I've gone through a few flat head screw drivers, 3 pry bars, nearly two weeks, and am currently beating the crap out of it with a rubber mallet...anyone have any more advice on getting this god forsaken POS off?

Re: How to lower transmission?

with the 6-speed, we had to removed the clutch fork that is on the drivers side, there was a bolt that had mine hung up also.

once it's out it just sorta slid right out.

good luck.
