How hard is the TransGo kit to install?

How hard would you rate doing a transgo install? I have completly built my motor, from the bottom end up, and have a pretty good understanding of most engine related mechanics. I have not, however, ever worked with transmissions, and I have read that they are not fun.

How hard would you rank doing this transgo install? I will have the tranny on a engine stand, but looks like I will be doing the work from the bottom sice the general concenses is that you cant do the work with the tranny upside down (due to check *****).

Also, anyone who's done it got any advice, things I'll need throughout the process, anything extra to add in is appreciated.

Thanks,
James

Re: How hard is the TransGo kit to install?

When my tranny was out I took it into my Auto Tech class, this was when I was in high school just last year. I put the tranny on the bench and flipped it over. I had the B&M transpak and it came with VERY detailed instructions. I had never hardly seen the inside of a tranny before and I didnt really have any problems. Just pay attention to where the check ***** go when u take out the valve body, they are the little silver metal *****. If u have any more questions then just ask, Dustin.
