If you have one built for an Fbody then it should bolt right in. The only potential problem I can see is if the DS doesnt fit.

The length of the driveshaft will be too long, I believe. You'll need to bolt in the 9" and then measure the actual distance between trans and pinion yoke. Talk to whoever is going to make or modify your driveshaft to find out exactly where to measure from.

...Also remember that the center section of the 9" is slightly off center towards the driver's side. This will move the rear TA mounting point and the TA will be "cocked" a little, meaning that the front and rear mounting points will not be in a straight line and may cause excessive wheel hop and suspension binding, This can be remedied by an aftermarket TA with the appropriate mounting holes (Spohn, BMR, etc...), or by fabbing up your own offset mount...

Now I'm definitely thinking I made the right choice with a DTS 12-bolt. More efficient power transmission, same DS, no having to offset TA and still GM
