how do you know it's time to rebuild tranny?
How do you know it's time to rebuild your transmission my t56 goes into gear fine but wont engage well for **** if i don't milk the engine the car will shake horribly. clutch has about 1000 miles on it, it's spec stage 2, flywheel was resurface at clutch change, no shims. I'm so f***ing tired of that damn shake i wanna kick the car. I've drove other cars that don't need gas to take off, i just did the cam install, but it did it before i changed that. WTF. Help please.
Re: how do you know it's time to rebuild tranny?
when the car is idling theres noise coming from in there some where when i get on the clutch it goes away but soon as i let it go it's doing it again. shakes the car a little.
Re: how do you know it's time to rebuild tranny?
Have you checked out your trans mount? It's hard to tell if it's bad unless you take it out and try to distort it w/ your hands. Also might want to check the driveshaft, u-joints, etc.

Yeah i haven't checked the trans mount but it's a polymount and doubt that's the problem. I cant even roll out of idle like other cars. i have to give it gas.
