How to diagnose a weak 700r4???

How can I positivly diagnose a "weak" or slipping transmission. I have a 93 z28 383, no head work yet but a hot cam 1.6's 24lbs inj, hi6s ign. I run 315 35 17 gforce kds and I can't get below 13.7 at 102.....WTF.

Re: How to diagnose a weak 700r4???

You're running a 383 w/ no head work, a hotcam and 24# injectors? Do you have any tuning? I would say you need to get your engine sorted out first before you worry about the drivetrain. The only real trans diagnosis is abnormal shifting or no shifting at all. If it shifts hard at wot then it's ok for now.
