You sure you didn't hit the speed limiter? Some cars have them around 115mph.

well since we're on the subject of driveshafts, my 94Z would start vibrating pretty bad at about 100, a few thousand miles back i noticed when i put a clutch in it the u joints were real sticky and didnt turn well and had like hard spots in them so i replaced them, then now i have the tranny out again cause im getting it rebuilt along with the motor, cause the vibration didnt go away, so i thought it was in the tranny. could an out of balance driveshaft have caused the vibration and u joint failures?

haha oh so true. The instant I read that guys comment about your idea I knew **** was going to hit the fan. I would suggest buying an LS1 driveshaft they are cheap (100$) and will pick you up a solid 5rwhp.
