Angry HELP! Vibration problem!

Hello. I just replaced my broken trans. mount with a poly one from Thunderracing.com My problem is, the car vibrates now, and I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem with the poly trans. mount. Do they loosen a little over time? Please reply if you have any info.

That's normal. My whole center console vibrates like hell from 3500 to 5000, but after 5000 it's smooth as silk again
You've gotta live with it...

Re: HELP! Vibration problem!

Don't use the pre-load plate thingie and grind off the two humps on the side that mounts to the trans on the poly bushing so that it is smooth. Shouldn;t vibrate much at all anymore. Thats what I am about to do to the one i bought last night.

By the way, Auto Zone sells them for $24.99 (Energy Suspension) and Pep Boys has both the Prothane ($27.00 on the website) and Energy Suspension ($17.00 on website) ones. I got mine at the Zone because the closest Pep Boys was about $10 in gas from where I was.
