Question Help! rear end carrier Problem Help!

So I start to pull the carrier out of my 1971 Camaro today to replace it with a positraction.
So I go to take the pinion shaft bolt out and it is broken.
How in the hell do I get the axles out now?
I need to take the C-clips off to take the axles out and I can do that till I get the shaft out.
Help!
Thanks,

Chris G.
