Well I have a sad story. I was driving my car and my driveshaft broke. Then my U joint went through the floor hitting the airbag module, making my bags pop. I went to put a new DS in and come to find out I CANT! It seams in the whole mess of things my rear housing (T56) torqued over and cracked. I took the cover off and spun the input shaft in everygear and it worked fine and nothing was bent. I put the rear cover on and the shaft is to the left. if you spin the shaft it stays to the left so I know the shaft is straight. I cleaned the cover and saw a HUGE crack in it so I guess my rear cover is shot? What do you guys think? Does anyone have a part# or a place to get just the rear cover?
