Help Me Hook UP!!!

Well I am very close to deciding on doing an A4 swap, because I cannot get my M6 setup to hook up at the track. Power Mods are in the sig.

Here is what I have as suspension:

-QA1 SHOCKS
-BMR TORQUE ARM (-2° PINION ANGLE)
-SLP DOUBLE DIAMOND STYLE SUBFRAME CONNECTORS
-BMR BOXED STYLE LCA'S
-SPOHN LCA RELOCATION BRACKETS
-POLY REAR SWAY BAR BUSHINGS

I have never been able to cut anything better than a 1.88 60 foot, and that was once! Usually around 1.90-2.10 with nitto nt555r drag radials (315's)

Now do you guys think its the tires, or the suspension? Thanks for any pointers or tips!

wow, somthin ait right! i cut a 1.89 on stock tires same setup as you, but without the q-a1 shocks or lower control arms.id say try adjusting the shocks, but scence i dont have those i wouldnt know what would work.with a nitto 315,you should be cuttin a 1.6 60' at least.

are you sure?

"383, LE AFR'S, BAUER Cam"

i think you're just plain overpowering the Nittos. everyone talks highly about the new MT DRs.

either that or a slick

Pretty much how I went about it, a pair of ET Streets mounted on some salad shooters.

yep, i think you are over powering the Nitto's

I have the BFG DR's (315/35/17) and spin those through 1st and 2nd

For the power you have, get some slicks and that should solve it....

I think the first order of business would be tires. MT DR's seem to be very well liked, and you have the 12 bolt strength to pull it off.

Second would be the gearing. Going to a 4.10 with a 3.06 first gear is going to make matters worse, especially with a aftermarket stall, trust me Perhaps 3.73's would better suit your application. But it wouldnt hurt to save the gear changing until after you try the auto first and then the tires. Launching an auto is much different than doing the same with M6.

Stock lenght TA or the shorter one? Like everyone else is saying, you need a better tire. I went with the Bogart 15" wheels and the 275 50 15 MT street radials. More sidewall will help your cause. Nice HP #s by the way.
