I'm in the same boat as you, except I have a '94. Not that it really matters about the year, though.

Re: Help with gears

Im happy with my 3.73 Motives. Is your car an automatic or manual, because most people say autos=3.73s and manuals=4.10s.

Yea the thing about their site is theirs a bunch of different motive gears on there. The one i got is GM7.5-373, and the install kit is GM7.5IK. Looks like the price went down on the gears too.

Now if your stock gears were 2.73, you are going to need a different gear than that; one that designed for the 2 series carrier. Definatly ditch the 2.73s, you will be glad you did. I noticed a difference from 3.23 to 3.73s.

Well I called today and ordered some Motives from Stripper Motorsports......got a hell of a deal on them. He didn't say anything about a carrier, but I gave him all the info on my car so I'm sure he knows which one I need. He seemed to be knowledgeable as far as the LT1 Camaros go.....
