I bought a 99 z28 camaro a few weeks ago. I've noticed that you have to push extra hard into 3rd gear, or the shifter will pop into nuetral (and you can imagine how irritating that is at high RPM).

It's got a pro 5.0 shifter/maybe transmission -- matter of debate :X.

I'm curious if this is normal, if so, is there a fix/how cheap?

If its got a pro 5.0 its probably just a matter of adjusting the stops. (I had that problem with 6th when I first installed mine)
