harsh shift

I've got a 95 Z with an attitude problem. when i shift from N to D the car launches forward. The shift from P to R is perfect. Any ideas ?

Re: harsh shift

there is an accumulator on the valve body that cushions the shift from park reverse or neutral to drive .it is possible the spring has broken or that line pressure is too high at idle foor some reason, take a line pressure reading,if it high diagnose as per factory manual.if its normal ,remove the accumulator cover and inspect the spring
