Guys with 4.11's

I am installing my gears and I want to know if any of you guys could give me some information. How many shims did you use on the pinion gear?? I have the stock rear end, so if you guys that have put in these gears could let me know, I would appreciate it. Thanks

the shims that came off of the original will be close to correct if not right on, sometimes.....
they're all a little different, you have to measure and adjust, there is no preset shim to get it right

Re: Guys with 4.11's

i left it up to the installer, I bought the install kit when i bought the gears, and they re shimmed the 4.11's during the install. do you have the correct tools for the install? to check pinion depth and backlash?
