GM LS Diff fluid w/ Royal Purple??

Is this ok? I am going to change my gear oil, seeing as it has not been changed since I have owned the car. The RP says it has friction modifer/LS additive in it.

The guy @ NAPA told me that having too much LS additive would give me chattering problems.

I wouldn't take anything that the guys at Napa, Autozone, Pep-boys..any of those stores say seriously.

I literally know more than anyone at my local Autozone and Napa, to the point where I just walk in the back of the store and find my own parts.

I've used it w/o the GM additive for 10K now and I have no noise or problems.
