Gear or Convertor?

I'm have trouble deciding what mod I should do next. I was going to put 3.42 gears in it since the car is daily driven year round. But I've been reading some threads saying you wont gain much of anything off gears except for traction problems and that a convertor is way better. I'll probably never do any internal motor work because it is after all a daily driver. The car is an A4 with 2.73 gears and has longtubes, cutout, cold air. Any suggestions?

Re: Gear or Convertor?

I would go with the stall converter.
