Hey I have a friend with a 95 Z, with an A4 and it's stuck in drive, I guess. You can put it in park/reverse/neutral etc, and hit the gas and it'll just go forward. Is this tranny salvagable or time for a new one? We flushed out the tranny, and about half a mine worth of metal came out, some good size chunks too. This happened after he just bought the car(for $500) and on the trip to our shop, it blew white smoke out the tranny. Covered all the lanes of traffic. Fun times. Anyways, whats wrong in there?
