Ford 9" rear end

how nice are these? my friends are ford guys, but they do respect chevy... said they are much better than moiser 12-bolt(SP?)

ive heard of them in f-bodies, just want opinions...

They are a bit stronger but I personally don't like how they are made.. Particularly the torque arm mount part is kinda ghetto :blah: Other than that it is pretty beefy.. Come's with an added price though

The Ford 8.8 rear end seems to be the ideal seup for our cars right now. Very strong and yet lighter than either the 12 bolt or the 9". The 9" is the stongest of the three but is also the heaviest and eats up the most horsepower. Unless you are well into the eights it is overkill for our cars. The 12 bolt and the 8.8 are equally strong. The 12 bolt is heavier and costs more....the 8.8 is the most logical choice.
