Flywheel Help!

Hey guys I got a huge problem. I need to replace my clutch so i bought a gently used spec stage 3 clutch with PP and then got a fidanza aluminum flywheel but the flywheel is not externally balanced for the stock lt1 motor. I guess thats call zero balanced right?

Well anyways my question is: isnt there a weight with 2 bolts that i can buy to make it externally balanced to my engine? Or am not getting the concept right...

Please ANYONE help me out with some info cause I need to get my clutch replaced ASAP! Can smell my clutch burning every time I drive it now...

Yes..you will need to get the proper weights applied to that flywheel before using it as the LT1 does have a external balanced flywheel. I would contact the manufacturer and obtain the correct weight and placement info.

I looked at the Fidanza site and it stated that the aluminum flywheel for the lt1 comes with the proper weights for application. Contact them and order the weights and ensure that you have the lt1 flywheel.

If i was you i would make sure the fly wheel is perfectly flat. Other wise you will ruin your new clutch. if it isn't make sure you get it machined
