If your engine was neutral or "0" balance you will need a neutral balance flywheel.

Question

Okay, this can get a bit tricky but try and stay with me here. When you engine was stock, it was balanced externally at the rear, (i.e. at the flywheel (manual trans), or flexplate (auto trans)).

When you then had your engine "built n balanced", did the engine shop rebalance your now(??) internally balanced motor with a "zero" (i.e. neutrally) balanced flexplate, or did they still use the factory "external" balance criteria???

If you can't get a hold of the shop that did your engine re-build to ask them these questions; then the only thing you can do now, is take your old flexplate from the auto trans setup, (which presumably ran well with your auto trans?), and have your new flywheel for your manual trans setup.......match balanced to it. Hope this info helps?

the crank was internal balanced.i bought u brand new flexplate for my auto and they had to take some weight off the flexplate.and i know the flywheel weights alot more then the flexplate..
