Fill plug fitting on Moser 12 bolt

Does anyone know what size Allen/hex fitting the fill plug is on the housing on a Moser 12 bolt? I just got the rear and went to check the fluid level and the biggest Allen socket I had was a 10mm. I didnt even have a wrench that fit that thing, it must be at least 15mm or bigger I would assume. Anyone know the size? I need to pick one up.

Its not metric but I forget if it was 1/4 or 5/16. I just bought a set of hex bits for my airwrench because the filler cap is in so tight from the factory. I think the fill was 1/4 and the drain was 5/16 but I will double check tonight and repost.

Wow, finding a 9/16 allen wrench is harder than I thought. Craftsman doesnt carry one any bigger than 1/2" and I guess I'll forget about an allen socket that big. Is there some strange reason Moser didn't just make that plug a standard 3/8" fitting like on the stock rear, or any size under 1/2" for that matter, sheesh what a PITA.

That size is very common in industry. Do you have a Production Tool, Granger, or such around your area??
I've got apexes and Allen wrenches in the size.
You could get a short 5/16" bolt and nut (9/16 head), screw them together with some red loctite and use that with a 9/16" socket.

I guess I mainly stick to Craftsman stuff so when I didnt see it there I wasnt sure where else to find it. I just checked online and found a Grainger store not far from here, didnt think of that. They have it in a 9/16 hex impact socket.....for $25.75 They have 9/16 wrenches too but not in stock at my local store. I think I'll just try the 9/16 nut & bolt trick for now, that sounds a little, uh, less expensive. Thanks
