A few more ?s about the 93 tranny.

I just installed 54mm throttle body and now the shifts and soft and slow. I have always thought that adjusting the TV cable to increase the pressure would hurt the tranny. Is that correct? What do I need to get them back to normal? Shift kit? One lst question, do I need a shift kit for a 4l60e or a 700R4? One place is trying to sell me the 700R4 kit and yet another is trying to sell me the 4L60E kit and both are "positive" that they are giving me the right answer.
TIA

If you have the TV cable, it is a 700R4, and if it does not, it is a 4L60E, either way I carry the Performance Shift kit for these. You want the TV cable to be adjusted correctly. Adjust the TV cable tight to a 1/16" from tight at WOT. This should give you the part throttle shifts right on time.
