I am in the middle of a A4 swap in my 95 LT1 Camaro. I got the old T56 out and sold. Now I am getting the car prepared for a stage 2 Performabuilt going in about two weeks. I have a few questions and part number inquires that I would like to run by you guys.

I bought a SFI approved flexplate and ARP flexplate bolt kit. Part #200-2906. Are these the correct bolts and what should I use on the threads to make sure they do not back out? Red Loctite?

There is a bearing inside the rear of the crank. Should I take it out? If so, what is the easiest way to get it out without damaging anything?

I did not recieve any bolts with my Yank converter. Does anybody have a part number that I can use to buy these? I want the best ones that I can get. Should I use loctite on these bolts as well?

Sorry for all the questions, I just want to do things right the first time around. Thanks for any and all help.

Yes you do have to emove the bearing from crank. you can use a puller, Some people put gease inshide it and use air something a chisel is needed, Not sure on the yank converter bolts since our converters used the stock thread size. Blue locktight works well . Hope this helps a little

 

So Red loctite is not a good idea? I do not know for sure if Yank converters use stock thread size. Anybody know the ARP part number for Converter bolts?

I read about a wet toilet paper method of removing the bearing. I might try that on my weekend.
