Edge converters

i just sent my 4l60e off to be rebuilt and now im shoping converters. im leaning towards Edge right now. They seem to be a nice compromise between the budget b&m/tci stuff and the higher end vig/pro torque brands. If you have an Edge or have worked with their stuff, give me your thoughts. i have searched and not found a lot on Edge. also, specify if you have the street edge or pro edge.

A friend of mine has been running one for a full season. Stalled exactly where it was supposed to and excellent customer service. I have not purchased a converter from Andre, but have been satisfied with the other parts purchases.

I carry the Edge torque converters ($535.00), what do you need exactly? I need to know all about the motor?, rear end gear ratio?, how you drive?, etc.

yeah, i went with the street edge with a 3000rpm stall speed. put the trans back in the car tonight, and will have it driving by tomorrow. cant tell ya how it works yet, but like others have said the customer service is very good. andre called me the day after i ordered it to talk things over. i'll give an update in a few days.

I used an EDGE 3400 in my car when I had the auto. The converter was great, droped .7 off my quarter mile times. I would definetly buy from them again.

I ordered one and should arrive in time to install it by Superbowl weekend. I'll bump this thread with results (street & track).

Used the Street Edge for 2 seasons when the car was a Bolt on. Worked perfect. Now I run the Pro Edge with the 355. Excellent track and street manners. My 60' last year were 1.59/1.60 all year.Matched perfect by Andre. Excellent product and customer service.
