Easiest way to change a throw out bearing

Easiest way to change a throw out bearing

My throw out bearing is startin to make a knock so i need to change it, whats the easiest way, by pullin the engine up, or droppin the transmission down?

transmission down, you will need to remove the tranny.

Definitely trans down....should only take a few hours.....

Might as well have the pressure plate turned (or replaced) and install a new clutch disk while your in there.

Do you have to do anything with the subframe or is it just the transmission mounts and transmission bolts that have to go.
