Dropping trans. to put in new slave cylinder?

Dropping trans. to put in new slave cylinder?

Would I have to drop the Transmission to put on a new slave cylinder? I know you have to if you have a LS1 but I've heard you don't for the LT1.

hmm, So do I or don't I?

no, you dont have to remove the tranny
