I'm hoping to make this thread a comprehensive list of some basic driveshaft info.

I'm looking to find the Weight, Diameter, Metal Thickness of 1LE, Stock and Aluminum LS1 driveshafts.

Anyone have any info? Feel free to post any corrections as well.

Weight:
Stock - 17# ish
Aluminum - ???
Aluminum 1LE - 12.2#

Diameter:
Stock - 2 3/4"
Aluminum - 3"
Aluminum 1LE - 2 3/4 "

Thickness:
Stock - ???
Aluminum - ???
Aluminum 1LE - ???

 

i've got my ls1 alum drive shaft out of the car...i can try to get a good weight on it with our digital scientific scale at work.
