Driveshaft won't move!

I told the 4 bolts off with the two clamps. I tug forward on it and it won't move. The front of the driveshaft looks pretty lubed up. This driveshaft was taken down just a month ago. Is there something else I'm forgetting to do to the rear of the driveshaft? Should I be able to pull down on the rear of the shaft and it come down?

Re: Driveshaft won't move!

You need to push the driveshaft forward (toward the tranny) first, so that it clears the pinion yoke. Then it should come down. If you can't push it forward by hand, give it a couple whacks with a rubber mallet, from the back.
