Is Drill Mod worth it on LS1/T56?

Alright, im about to install my LS1 in my 96 and the master cylinder is out of the car at the moment, would it be worth it to do the drill mod on the master cylinder? I dont know if there are complications after doing the mod or what it will actually help but now would probably be the best time to do it if its worth it. I will be running a F1 lightweight flywheel and a centerforce dual friction clutch or spec 3 clutch. Please let me know if there are any issues or ups and downs. thanks

i bought the engine setup off a board memeber so I am going to see if it has been done already, he upgraded the clutch and fly so not sure if he did.

I thought it was worth it. I was noticing a bit of engagment delay before it.. It's an instant reaction now.

You can see if it's done by inserting the correct drill bit size into the braided line. If the bit won't go in, then it hasn't been done. I used the InstallUniversity site for the install, but I felt the bit size they used was a hair too big for my liking.. So I used the next size down. (They say 1/8" bit, but I used 7/64")

Or my page.. I like to think my pics are better, tho.. Scroll down past 1/2 way, after the LT install.

It's only a couple minutes to actually do it.. If It's out of the car, go for it.. Just be sure to bleed at least a reservoir full of fluid thru the line first to get the metal shavings out..
