Dragging the anchor
Dragging the anchor
My problem is when starting off it is very sluggish. When going up my drive way (not that steep) it gives you the indication that the tranny fluid could be low because it slowly gets going (tranny fluid is not low). While my car is an automatic it feels as if you are starting a manual tranny out in second gear because it drags. I did the road test today and I believe my problem is I lost first gear. It does not start out in 1st from a complete stop - even if I click the shifter manually to 1st. There is no kickdown when you nail it from 45/50ish mph. Car has 125k on it.
My question...Could a B/G tranny flush correct this or rebuild necessary - Or ???
I know there is some theory about flushing the tranny when you have issues in that it could make it worse. Others seem to say it could help.
Please help me out
Thanks for your help!!!
