Dont know what it is need help

I was leaving from an intersection and at about 25KM shifted into second and then a weird banging/grinding noise started. It kicked the shifter out of 2nd and won't let me put the car into any gears. If I try it sounds like theres a continuos grinding sound(almost like a small whining/grinding sound). If I force it into gear and try to let off the clutch it feels like the clutch is pushing hard against something or grinding.

Any Ideas.

Hmmm.... kinda hard to imagine. What clutch/PP are you running? Might better pull the trans to see it the TO bearing demolished or if the clutch disk flew apart. Sometimes the damping springs on the clutch disk will dislodge/break apart and cause jamming problems like you are describing. If the clutch assembly, fork, and hydraulics look fine then the trans might be at fault. The T56 is pretty stout though and if it does turn out to be the problem it would suprise me. Good luck

Thanks for the quick reply!

The clutch is the same as the stock one but it was just replaced before I stored my car last winter. Once I get the car towed back to my garage i'll have to get to work.
