Does the single disk Mcleod clutch chatter?

I'm doing a T56 conversion for my car and want a clutch that will last awhile, but be streetable and not chatter like crazy. I pretty much ruled out spec because some people have problems with them. How much does the mcleod chatter, if any? I'm either going to get the SLP clutch or the single disk Mcleod and want something that will hold my power. I should be making 350-375rwhp if that matters.
Oh yeah, and I still have the stock 10 bolt so I don't want anything too stronge that will snap it with ease...

Give McLeod's tech line a call and ask about your application; again I think you're going to be marginal at best with that clutch.

there are 2 single disc mcleod clutches. a 5500 rpm disc (stock replacement?) and the clutch i just bought which is the 7500 rpm disc. i havent put the clutch in yet, but on one side it is kevlar and on the other side its a full face like a regular street clutch. since one side is kevlar im expecting a little chatter.

I think I'm the only one in the world that has shattered this clutch (McLeod)...along with a RAM, Sass (sp?), Center Force and of course the stock replacement one from the factory.

Not true.. I shattered the hell out of my Mcleod 800 series disc... I was at the strip and I was running a 383, so that may have been an issue... Im runnin the Street Twin now and I love the thing... I dont think I would ever buy a different clutch!

That might have been the problem but mine at the time was just a stock block with small little mods here and there. The reason mine shattered probably was due to the QTPs and 9"??
