Does PP need to be in certain orientation for balance?
Does PP need to be in certain orientation for balance?
Sorry, I could not find the answer when I searched.
I just installed the new McLeod flywheel and was not sure if I need to install the pressure plate in a certain orientation relative to the weight that is on the back of the pressure plate. I was looking for any markings anywhere on the pressure plate but could not see any.
The clutch is the McLeod single disk kevlar. Unfortunately, I did not mark the PP and flywheel when they were still together as shipped from McLeod so I don't know the orientation the PP and flywheel were in when I got them. As you might guess, I feel a bit dumb right now.
Thanks all.

Re: Does PP need to be in certain orientation for balance?
I'm sure some of you guys know this one.
I really don't want to have to call McLeod Tech support because it takes days to get through and if I bugger this up I'll be pulling out the tranny again.
Sorry for the breach of "TTT" protocol but I'm getting desperate and wasting summer time.
Thanks all.
