do you have to buy an adjustable master cylinder with new clutch?

just curious what are the pros and cons of this and do i have to get one?

Adjustable master cylinders are only necessary for for certain clutches (like McLeod's ST) as they require a different stroke length.

they help you adjust the clutch engagement point in the pedal travel.

i just installed a Spec 4....breaking in now...plan to do a full write up on it soon.
