Disappointed with SLP
I am a little discouraged right now. I thought SLP pressure plates were supposed to handle 450 hp. I have nowhere near that and I roasted it at the track. I didn't even drop the clutch. I slipped the clutch a little at 3500 rpms on slicks and it did not go anywhere, just spun the clutch. My setup is SLP lightweight steel flywheel, SLP lightweight pressure plate, and Clutchnet carbon fiber disc (supposed to handle 700 hp). Am I justified to be upset, or did I overload the capacity of my setup? It is all about 5 months old and this is my first time to the track on the setup!
