different.......

ok this should be a little different from the norm. What shifter is everyones favorite for a 6spd? I am coming from a 97 Mustang Cobra and I really liked the MGW shifter I had. Looking for something sort of styled similar if anyone knows what I am talking about. Links to your favorites would be great! Lookin for feel 1st and style 2nd. Thanks!

Re: different.......

i think the standard #1 shifter everyone refers to is the Pro 5.0

but personally i like my hurst shifter that came out of a stock SS (the upgraded factory shifter), and then i installed a lou's short stick.

totalled $105 shipped and is a rock solid shifter, the throws are short as hell, i can shift 1-2 with just my wrist. i measured it at 3" from 1st to 2nd.

I love my factory Hurst shifter. I might switch to a short stick -- the throws are a little long, but not terrible.

I put a hurst billet plus in mine and love it. I have also driven f-bodies with B&M ripper shifters in them and they seem to work good.
