Difference in transmissions

Is there any difference between a OBD1 trans and an OBD2 trans? I'm about to install a T56 in my 97, but the tranny came from a 94. I know there are differences in the 93s, but what about 94-97, are they all the same?

Thanks

Jeremy

Re: Difference in transmissions

94-97's are the same. You just want to make sure you get the PCM with it though.

yeah, I just got that back yesterday from Ion Soltan, madz28. Just a last minute thought that it might not be compatible. Thanks for clarifying
