Dial Indicators??
Dial Indicators??
I'm getting ready to order a dial indicator to set up ring and pinions and whatevar else I can find to measure, but should I get 1.000 dial or a .250 dial?
For the stuff that I'm doing I think that the .250 dial would be the best since it would be easier to read when doing the ring and pinion on my car than the 1.000 dial would be.
Let me know for sure

summit used to sell a proform kit......it was for doing R&P's....descent kit for the money....had all the adapters etc. you would need.
I have a few....most are snap-on, I think the cheapest kit I have was $300+.......So if its not going to be used everyday I would look into that kit or something similar
As far as what one to get thats up to you, I have a few so I just grab the one that will work best for what i'm doing at the time

I'm not looking to spend alot of money, but want to get something that works. I was looking at the one at summit for $30 that reads in .001 increments and comes with the magnetic stand.
I'll just order that one and see how it works and at the worst I'm only out $30
