A couple 4L60E questions...
I'm having my new built tranny done by Pro Built Automatics in SoCal. When I called, he asked me a question that I suddenly wasn't sure of.
What is the stock shift point on a 95 Z28? I said it was around 5700 or so, but I told him I wasn't sure. Either way he can look it up, but what is the stock shift point anyway? I can't go try it out to see, since my transmission is now slipping.
Anyway, he decided that for what I want to do with it (he's building me a taylor made setup suited to road racing) that a 2800 stall would be good (I like the 3.23s and I'm keeping them). Any guesses on how much a 2800 stall would drop my quarter mile ET at the drag strip?
I'm thinking it should be pretty decent (4 or 5 tenths?) even though drag racing isn't going to be the main focus of my off road fun.
