Corvette Servo

Someone was telling me to but a corvette servo in my 700r4 Camaro Tranny. What does this help with?

If you do not have one already, it can help with 2nd & 3rd gear firmness, and with band & clutch life. I use them in everything I build, as they are a necessary upgrade.
