Converter installed!
Converter installed!
I installed my 3000 stall-2.0 STR converter today.
Pretty rough job, considering I installed it all by myself in the my garage.
(on 6 ton jack stands) I took it for a short ride. It doesn't shift as hard as it used to. Hopefully my times improve. I cut 1.47 60ft times pulling the front tires about 6" with the stock converter.

Re: Converter installed!
If you don't mind me asking, how does one put a car like yours in the high 10's with a 1.47 60 ft. time on a stock converter? Parts list please.
And for the second question, why not go bigger on the stall size?

Re: Converter installed!
if you're pulling those time, I bet you'd do better with a 3600 or so... Also the tranny is still shifting as crisp and hard, you just cant feel it as much with the new converter, that is normal...
