I am going to have my trans rebuilt, and put a 2800 stall in it. However I was just thinking about this, didnt think about it much earlier, when I changed the cam and did rockers on my car, we took the inspection cover off of the trans and the converter was green. Arent the stock one's goldish? This trans has been rebuilt before and the guy who sold the car to me said they had a "heavy duty" converter put in, not a stall. Can anyone confirm what type of converter this may be? Thanks guys!

some trans shops spray their converters diffrent colors so they know its their converter. my trans shop uses blue for their converters, some use black pink, red...

 

My Vig. is like a light purple color, and I believe all of their converters are as well...

I know this doesn't tell you what you have but it might rule out a few...
